We designed the matching bralettes to fit a large variety of breast sizes thanks to the stretchy and soft fabric we chose. The bralettes feel very comfortable and can be worn without the Faja like a crop top as well. The thick waistband on each bralette will protect the skin under your breasts from any potential irritation from the Faja rubbing up against that area, which we have seen happen a lot in our Faja alterations customers with other Fajas. Additionally, the thick waistband helps cover the skin on your sides, which tends to be the most sensitive post-op.

Depending on the Faja size you order, we will include the appropriate size of bralette to your package. Our photoshoot and commercial models have C-cup, G-cup, and triple-F cup - all three wear the size L bralette, and it fits them perfectly without spillage. We match 4 bralette sizes across 7 Faja sizes, so do not be alarmed if your XS Faja comes with a size S bralette. This was intentional. However, if the bralette ends up being too big, the Faja Doctor offers tightening services specific for the BDY bralette for $12.50. If you are not having a BBL, you can simply go by the recommended size from our Size Guide tool.

If you are having a BBL coming up, take your current pre-op hip measurement and add 4 inches to it. Use your existing pre-op waist measurement. Type both numbers into our Size Guide tool and follow the provided size recommendation. Adding 4 inches has proven to be a very effective method to ensure the hips & Faja booty will fit you perfectly without any compression to those areas!

We intentionally made the leg length a little bit shorter than mid-thigh length, which we find works best for both slim, athletic, and thick thighs. But if you want them even shorter, it is possible!

Creasing in the waist area is a common occurrence and is often observed in fajas with bra straps. The lack of support from the bra straps often leads to inadequate pulling up of the back of the faja, resulting in annoying creasing. This is one of the reasons why we personally prefer fajas with thick straps. Another common cause of creasing is when the torso of the faja is too long. We can assist you by shortening the faja torso to address this issue. A third common cause is when the stretchy fabric of the faja designed for the booty extends too far up your back, causing a crease above the booty.

Although creasing can be frustrating, it is not a cause for concern, and it will not leave any permanent indentations on your body. If the creasing becomes painful, it is recommended to remove the faja. However, some discomfort is normal, especially since the sides are often sensitive areas after liposuction.

To improve the appearance and feel, you can place lipo foams or small rectangular boards on each side under the creases. Tightening the straps as much as possible can also help, although it may cause discomfort on the shoulders. It is important to remember that no faja is perfect, and everyone's body is different, so we may need to address and find solutions to these issues. One suggestion is to place little socks under each strap for added comfort, or you can use pads or cut one of your old lipo foams into 2" strips to use for strap comfort.

We are sorry, but it is not feasible to achieve that specific alteration. In this case, I suggest exploring brands that are more accommodating for long torsos, such as MariaE or Bling Shapers available on Amazon. Additionally, you can consider using a seamless compression waistband to bridge the gap between the top of the faja and the bottom of your breasts

Unfortunately, the straps are essential for properly securing that style of faja and cannot be altered without significantly compromising the garment.

Please note that we do not offer this particular service, as there is a simple hack available: bra extenders! These extenders are easily accessible in black and tan colors. You can find them at Walmart in the sewing section for approximately $2 per piece. Alternatively, on Amazon, you can purchase a multi-pack for around $5.

If you're referring to thin bra straps, you can find thicker and longer individual bra straps on Amazon as well.

This often means that the faja legs are too tight or the silicone in the leg lace lost its grip. If the legs are too tight, visit thefajadoctor.com for more information. The short answer is: No!

Here's why: In well over 95% of all Fajas currently on the market, you will have to fully take your Faja off to use the bathroom #2 - even ones with zipper crotches. The only Fajas you can go to the bathroom for #2 in without making a mess are ones where the crotch zipper goes almost halfway up your back, which is simply not the case for the majority of Fajas that do have a crotch zipper built in. Having the zipper go that far up your back, however, negatively impacts your shape and compression in the waist, lower abdomen, and flanks. Not to mention the highly unflattering shape and lack of proper support it gives your assets.

After altering over 7000 Fajas (as of March 2023) and being deeply exposed to Faja discomfort issues different clients of ours experience with zipper crotch Fajas, it was a no-brainer for us to go with a comfortable crotch flap. This also allowed us to go all out in the way the Faja will shape, support, and make your peach look.

I personally recommend finding a way to train your body to go #2 in the morning before you put your Faja on. I was able to train my body to have a regular #2 schedule by strategically drinking my coffee in the morning before getting into my Faja.

We designed BDY Fajas with a comfortable and convenient crotch flap that makes it very easy and quick to use the bathroom to pee with the Faja still on. We have a short instructional how-to video for that at the top of this FAQ page.

Your BDY Faja comes with a matching 4-row extender, which would give you an additional 2 inches of room, so give that a try first. Remember, all Fajas have a 3-4 day break-in period during which they become more comfortable to wear. A video explaining this common occurrence is at the top of this FAQ page.

If the Faja fits just feels too tight in an uncomfortable way, I recommend doing what I call a fabric softener soak: Take a big enough bowl, fill it with warm water, mix in a splash of fabric softener, and soak either the entire Faja in it or just the legs (or whatever is causing you discomfort) for 30-60 minutes. If it’s just a little too tight, 30 minutes is enough. If it’s painfully tight, soak for 60 minutes. No need to rinse it off unless you used too much fabric softener. You can also use fabric softener on a targeted area that bothers you. For example, if the fabric around the crotch is cutting into your skin, you can use a brush or your fingers to brush some fabric softener on the area that is cutting your skin and let it sit there for an hour, then rinse it off. Other than this, you want to avoid using fabric softener when washing your Faja, as it will loosen it up a bit.

If you have surpassed the 4-week post-op mark, you can completely ditch foams, boards, and your tank top unless your surgeon tells you otherwise, such as if you are having wound-healing issues, other complications, or have very sensitive skin. The purpose of foams up until the 4-week mark is to give your fragile post-op skin some cushion and protection. Foams after the 4-week mark only serve to stuff an otherwise loose-fitting Faja. This will not be necessary with your BDY Faja, as for most people, it will be very tight and not require additional alterations. For people with more extreme waist & hip measurements, 50% off Faja alterations with the Faja Doctor will take care of any looser-fitting areas.

Our fabric manufacturers recommend dry cleaning to maintain the Faja in its most pristine condition. However, dry-cleaning is not always convenient. The Faja Doctor herself experimented with this for quite a while and found that washing your Fajas in your washer & dryer is indeed possible, but make sure to be aware of the below:

Rule #1 - Always use a laundry bag to protect your Faja & all of its hardware from the washing machine drum.

Gentle cycle is always a good idea, and you can use laundry detergent of your choosing & scent beads as well. We recommend avoiding fabric softener unless you want the Faja to loosen up more. Fabric softener is a great tool to make your Faja more stretchy and soft. If you prefer to maintain high compression, avoid fabric softener.

You can use the dryer or air-dry your Faja overnight. Using the dryer gives the Faja some extra tightness, which can be a desired outcome. The added tightness is temporary, as common with tight stretch-clothes fresh out of the dryer. If your Faja is already super tight, we recommend air-drying it.

Since we designed this Faja to be much smaller in the waist than it is in the hips, we include a matching 4-row hook extender with the same high quality, high durability gold hooks as the Faja itself. This can be helpful for you if you're still overly swollen and need a bit of extra room or want more comfort during the Faja's 3-4 day break-in period.
